The ingredient of Mexican shredded beef

  1. 1 tablespoon salt
  2. 1 teaspoons pepper
  3. 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  4. 1 teaspoon garlic
  5. 1 teaspoon cumin
  6. 1 teaspoon oregano
  7. 1kg beef skirt steak
  8. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  9. 1 onion, quartered
  10. 3 garlic cloves
  11. 1 cup Massel beef stock
  12. 1 cup water

The instruction how to make Mexican shredded beef

  1. In a bowl mix together salt, pepper, chilli powder, garlic, cumin and oregano.
  2. Rub mixture all over meat to completely coat.
  3. In a large pan heat olive oil. Brown steak on both sides.
  4. Place in slow cooker. Add onion and garlic. Pour in water and beef stock. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  5. Remove from slow cooker and shred.
